Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 21, 2026
We believe in being straightforward about how Public Records Central is funded. This disclosure is provided in the spirit of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
We use affiliate links
Public Records Central is free to use. To support the Site, some of the links to third-party paid record-retrieval services are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and sign up for or purchase a service, we may earn a commission.
It costs you nothing extra
You never pay more because of an affiliate link. The commission is paid by the third-party service out of what it already charges, and it does not change the price you pay or the options available to you.
Free official sources come first
Affiliate relationships do not change our core promise: on every page, we present the free official government source first. Paid third-party services are offered only as an optional convenience — for people who want faster turnaround or combined nationwide searches — and are clearly labeled as paid. We link to official sources whether or not there is any commission involved.
Not a consumer reporting agency (FCRA)
Neither Public Records Central nor the third-party services we may link to are consumer reporting agencies for the purposes of the information we present, and this information is not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). It may not be used to make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.
